By giving thanks for the presence of God Almighty and feeling proud of UPN "Veteran" Jakarta as one of the Universities that routinely holds the 53rd Graduation Ceremony. This special event was attended by the Indonesian Minister of Defence, Prof. Ir. Purnomo Yusgiantoro, MSc, MA, Ph.D as a guest who was awaited by all present.

The Graduation Ceremony took place at Gd. The Jakarta Convention Center (JCC) witnessed the addition of the National Leader Candidates today, Tuesday, 30 September 2014.

The event, which started promptly at 08.00 WIB, was attended by the Minister of Defense of the Republic of Indonesia, Coordinator of Kopertis Region III Jakarta, Chair of YKPP, Head of BP.Dik, Chancellor of UPN "Veteran" East Java, Chancellor of UPN "Veteran" Yogyakarta, Chair of BPH, members of the Senate , UPNVJ teaching staff and academics, administrators of the UPNVJ Alumni Association, graduates and their families, and other invitees.

At the 53rd Graduation, the Chancellor gave awards to the 20 best graduates in each study program. This solemn event was also filled with regional dances presented by the Dance UKM and accompanied by melodious strains from the Gita Adyavatya Choir UKM which enlivened the event.

In his remarks, the Chancellor said that today after the hard efforts that have been made for several years, he has succeeded in obtaining the academic title Associate Expert, Bachelor, Professional and Masters which is the end of education at UPNVJ. We expect you to practice knowledge in your respective professions in a more responsible and quality manner. Learn continuously throughout life, achieve a higher degree. UPNVJ alumni must become agents of change for the nation by working hard, honest and disciplined, make changes starting from themselves.

The challenge going forward is to make UPNVJ a professional and educative university so that it can play a real role and make a big contribution to the nation and state. With its own uniqueness apart from the academic field, UPNVJ runs the "Three In One" program, namely that each graduate has a character that is characterized by National Insight, especially State Defense, has the ability in the field of "Entrepreneurship" and has the spirit of "Leadership". It takes hard work and mental readiness for all of us to maintain UPNVJ's existence as a living monument left by the fighters and founders, with uniqueness that no other university has.
