HumasUPNVJ - It doesn't feel like UPN Veteran Jakarta has undergone 6 years as a state university, right on October 6 2014, UPN Veteran Jakarta along with 34 other universities was inaugurated as a state university by President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono.
As a form of gratitude, even in the midst of a pandemic, all UPN Veteran Jakarta academics attended a virtual meeting with the entire UPN Veteran Jakarta extended family, on Tuesday (06/10/20).
In this virtual meeting, the Chancellor of UPN Veterans Jakarta, Erna Hernawati, conveyed her best wishes for all parties involved in UPNVJ's development.
We offer our best prayers to all parties involved in the UPNVJ grievance process. Hopefully all good deeds, persistent efforts never give up, ups and downs, may it become a good deed for the parties involved and all their family members. Especially to the Chancellor of the last period as a PTS, namely Kusnadi Kardi who delivered UPNVJ to the status of becoming a PTN, and prof. Eddy S Siradj as Chancellor of the First UPNVJ with PTN status," said the Chancellor.
"We should be grateful for the transfer of this status because with UPNVJ's status to PTN, many significant developments have been achieved by UPNVJ and even by the three UPNs," he added.
It should be noted that after the change in status from PTS to PTN, the enthusiasm for UPN Veterans Jakarta was getting higher, this was a sign that the community had placed their trust in UPNVJ. Other advantages can be felt in terms of easy-to-obtain human resources, and rankings that continue to increase. This proves that UPNVJ is a PTN that has a major contribution to the world of education, especially state universities.
"Even though it's in a transitional period, there are still some problems that we have to face together, so that everything can feel light. Let's fight together for a better UPNVJ. It shows that we are not going to give up with the existing process, "concluded the chancellor.
In separate places, the work units celebrated 6 years of nationalization of UPNVJ with enthusiasm. With this, it is hoped that there will be a sense of enthusiasm to continue the struggle of the parties who contributed to UPNVJ and increase solidarity between employees.
