dr. Pritha Maya Savitri, Sp.KP as the Director of the Rehearsals gave an explanation of the things that underlies the implementation of the Rehearsal Command Post. This activity was carried out to provide an overview and simulation experience to students about disaster preparedness. As prospective doctors, students are expected to be able to apply disaster knowledge and skills in disaster management simulations at the puskesmas level.
This year's Geladi Posko is present with the theme: "Puskesmas Sumur District provides health support in the Sector 1 Area of Pandegelang Regency in the framework of health assistance for the Tsunami disaster". In his remarks, the Dean of FK UPNVJ, Dr. dr. H. Taufiq Fredrik Pasiak, M.Kes., M.Pd.I conveyed a number of things, "Natural disasters from sea, air and land along with the development of technology can be predicted. But in many ways many are unpredictable, so scientists think that disasters are always there at any time, anywhere, whenever a disaster can occur. So that humans are required to prepare themselves ( preparedness) to respond to disasters, we as humans cannot refuse the occurrence of disasters. What can be done is to reduce the risk of disasters Matra Health does not only focus on disaster preparedness but also shows a proactive response not a reactive response, because basically Indonesia is an archipelagic country which from Sabang – Merauke has the potential for disasters. social and state life.
Three messages from the dean that must be remembered in the implementation of the Geladiposko and when in a disaster are:
1) Aware . In this Gladiposko Calmness and Active Cognition must be in a conscious state, because in a disaster situation in order to make decisions in a clear mind, there is no urge to panic, one must be in calm
2) Attention to details . Overcoming disasters requires paying attention to details and details. The conclusion is the ability to pay attention to details and the steps must be considered carefully
3) Collaboration . In disaster management, collaboration and cooperation are needed between the various parties involved. With rehearsals at the posko, students will be trained to work together, collaborate and coordinate with many parties, both from individuals, the private sector and the government.
