HumasUPNVJ - On May 15-16 2021, female students of the Faculty of Health Sciences at the National Veterans Development University Jakarta became one of the participants in the 2021 International Model United Nation Online Conference. The International Model United Nation aims to bring together youth from all over the world to learn and share ideas from various experiences and backgrounds where the youth will consolidate to learn about diplomacy, international relations, and the United Nations.

The holding of the International Model United Nation Conference is open to the public, especially students around the world. Adzkia Avisena Maghfiroh (2010713054) had the opportunity to take part in the International Model United Nation Conference as a representative from Albania in the United Nation Women's Council which discussed " Ensuring gender equality by alleviating discrimination against women. ”

At the time of the conference , Adzkia as a representative from Albania explained to all countries in detail regarding the issue of gender equality that occurred in that country and the things Albania had done to overcome this. After the conference , a debate was also held with specific discussion on the issue of gender equality in terms of education, employment, or in politics. After that, a case study was carried out regarding the crisis in Iran and all participants in the International Model United Nations Conference had to decide what to do with a limited time.

In this event, Adzkia Avisena Maghfiroh, one of the Semester II students of the Public Health Study Program, Undergraduate Program, Faculty of Health Sciences, Jakarta Veterans National Development University, won a Verbal Commendation award or award because the delivery during the United Nation Model , both from the speech to the debate, was very good .
