“If this is My Last Ramadan”, the theme of Tarhib Ramadhan 1443 H UPNVJ

HumasUPNVJ - The Mosque Welfare Council (DKM) and the extended family of the Jakarta Veterans National Development University happily welcomed the arrival of the holy month of Ramadan 1443 H with joy holding Tarhib Ramadhan 1443 H as a form of Islamic spiritual development by presenting Ustad Ahmad Susilo as a guest speaker, "If this were Ramadan My Last” is the theme of this study, in order to remind all UPNVJ academics to always give their best in fasting during the month of Ramadan.

Deputy Dean for Academic Affairs of the UPNVJ Faculty of Health Sciences representing the DPP DKM LDK USWAH UPNVJ extended family, Taufik Maruysman gave a speech, "Ladies and gentlemen who are glorified by Allah, the holy month of Ramadan is a month full of blessings and forgiveness and practices are multiplied. Therefore, let us race and improve all good deeds and welcome his arrival by preparing ourselves and cleaning the place of worship and its surroundings so that we feel comfortable and increase our solemnity apart from carrying out worship. Fasting in the holy month of Ramadan is obligatory for a full month for men -male and female. Let us welcome the arrival of this month of Ramadan with a sincere heart. Because fasting in the month of Ramadan is a divine calling addressed to believers. We hope that UPNVJ, in the momentum of this Ramadhan, can become a wasilah to become the best and foremost PTN in terms of achievements," said Taufik.

UPNVJ Chancellor, Erna Hernawati gave the opening remarks at the start of the event, "It doesn't feel like we have met this month full of blessings again. This month is very special and special for us Muslims, there are lots of blessings from Allah SWT. As we know fasting is an obligation for all of us. Referring to our theme "If this were my Last Ramadhan", this is a reminder for all of us so that we can all prepare our best to live this Ramadhan. We certainly need enough knowledge in going through all of this. May we all be given health and grace from Allah SWT in undergoing full fasting. This activity is expected to make us as human beings who always convey kindness and invite each other to always be the best," he added.

Ustad Ahmad Susilo gave enlightenment to all UPNVJ academics who were present, approximately 488 participants via the zoom platform , "No one knows our age, therefore we must always maintain our appetites, especially our fasting during the month of Ramadan. If this is our Last Ramadan, I'm sure we will be serious about following the teachings and commands of Allah SWT and His Messenger. Allah is very jealous, so what Allah forbids is left behind”, explained Ustad Ahmad Susilo

This study lasted until 18:00 WIB and closed with a discussion session.
