Belmawa Director Hopes "Defending the Country" Continues to Color UPNVJ Alumni

HumasUPNVJ – Acting Director of Learning and Student Affairs Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology Dr. Ir. Sri Gunani Partiwi, MT hopes that the values of State Defense will continue to color the alumni of the Jakarta "Veteran" National Development University in contributing to the nation and state according to their respective knowledge.

“Defending the Country must be a color in every contribution of Younger Brothers to become the front guard to defend the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia. As a State Defense Campus, we believe that UPN will always consistently provide the best provision for its alumni," Sri said at the 69th Graduation Ceremony of UPNVJ Diplomas, Bachelors, Professionals and Masters Programs held at the Jakarta Convention Center Convention Center, Jakarta, Sunday (25/9 /2022).

Sri said the achievements proved that UPNVJ is serious about providing the best learning facilities for students. UPNVJ has implemented innovative learning systems, one of which is through the Merdeka Learning Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) program to build more comprehensive competencies to face future challenges.

According to Sri, the challenges and competition that the graduates will face are no longer at the local and national levels, but also at the global level. Therefore, the graduates must be confident because they have gone through the learning process at UPNVJ well and will work in the future.

"Science and technology development and innovation are accelerating. We cannot avoid digitalization, therefore we must do lifelong learning. Continue to learn while working. We also encourage universities to innovate so that they can provide more real benefits," he said.

To the graduates, Sri congratulated them and was happy and proud. According to him, the long process that has been passed after so many years of studying at the Bela Negata Campus has been completed and produced results.

"Parents are happy to welcome the success of the younger siblings. Parents' prayer was one of the things that led younger siblings to successfully complete their education at UPNVJ. "Congratulations on the achievements that have been obtained, happy working, good luck and receiving blessings from Allah the Almighty," he said.

UPNVJ inaugurated 1,840 graduates consisting of 287 Diploma 3 (D-3) Program graduates, 1,261 Undergraduate (S-1) Program graduates, 228 Professional Program graduates, and 64 Masters Program graduates.

Graduation is divided into two sessions. At the first graduation session, the Acting Director of Learning and Student Affairs, Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology, Dr. Ir. Sri Gunani Partiwi, MT to give a speech on behalf of the Minister of Education, Culture, Research and Technology Nadiem Anwar Makarim. Apart from that, there was also the provision of material from the Institutional Director of the Directorate General of Higher Education, Research and Technology Dr. Lukman, ST, M. Hum. In the second session, the Acting Director General of Higher Education, Prof. Ir. Nizam M.Sc., DIC.,PhD.
