HumasUPNVJ - Jakarta "Veteran" National Development University (UPNVJ) inaugurated 1,840 graduates in the 69th Graduation Diploma, Bachelor, Professional and Masters Programs which were held at the Plenary Hall, Balai Sidang Jakarta Convention Center, Jakarta, Sunday (25/9/2022 ).
"We congratulate you on the success of your sons and daughters, and especially the graduates for today's achievements. Your success, of course, is not a personal success, but is the result of the support and prayers of many people, especially your parents and guardians," said the Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Erna Hernawati Ak. CPMA, CA to the graduates.
The Chancellor said that the parents and guardians of the graduates had supported them with sincerity in the form of material support and unending prayers to ask for the success of the graduates in studying at UPNVJ. Therefore, on this happy occasion, the Chancellor advised the graduates to use it to thank their parents and guardians.
The Chancellor also conveyed his condolences to the family of one of the graduates, namely Muhammad Aldianto, a graduate of the Communication Studies Program, Faculty of Social and Political Sciences. The Chancellor prayed that the deceased would be accepted for his charity and worship and given the best place in the sight of Allah SWT.
"Innalillahi wa inna ilaihi rojiun, May the families left behind be given sincerity and patience for this disaster," said the Chancellor.
To the graduates, the Chancellor also advised them to continue doing lifelong learning so that they can adapt to the dynamics of change that occur by updating knowledge and always continuing to improve competence.
"Congratulations on fighting to realize your dreams and hopes, especially your parents. I put the good name of UPNVJ as your alma mater on your shoulders. Alma mater means nanny mother, namely the mother who gives knowledge. UPNVJ as an alma mater provides provisions to live life, makes UPNVJ proud with achievements and works that benefit the nation and the country," said the Chancellor.
The Chancellor also advised graduates to apply and transmit the values of Defending the Country wherever they are for Indonesia. Hopefully the graduates will be successful and proud in any profession.
UPNVJ inaugurated 1,840 graduates consisting of 287 Diploma 3 (D-3) Program graduates, 1,261 Undergraduate (S-1) Program graduates, 228 Professional Program graduates, and 64 Masters Program graduates.
Graduation is divided into two sessions. At the first graduation session, the Acting Director of Learning and Student Affairs, Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology, Dr. Ir. Sri Gunani Partiwi, MT to give a speech on behalf of the Minister of Education, Culture, Research and Technology Nadiem Anwar Makarim. Apart from that, there was also the provision of material from the Institutional Director of the Directorate General of Higher Education, Research and Technology Dr. Lukman, ST, M. Hum. In the second session, the Acting Director General of Higher Education, Prof. Ir. Nizam M.Sc., DIC.,PhD.
