HumasUPNVJ – The establishment of the Radiology Specialist Study Program at the Faculty of Medicine, UPN Veterans Jakarta, will soon be completed and will be officially opened. On this day, the UPNVJ FK team carried out Field Evaluation activities for the Specialist Program Radiology Study Program held at the Gatot Subroto Army Central Hospital Auditorium which was attended by the Head of the RSPAD and senior officers of the RSPAD, the Chancellor of UPNVJ and his staff, the Visitation Team, Head of LLDIKTI Region III , Institutional Director, Director of the Indonesian Health Higher Education Independent Accreditation Institute, Directorate General of Health Workers of the Ministry of Health and Lieutenant General TNI (Retired) Prof. Dr. dr. The vision of FK UPNVJ itself is as a faculty that upholds defending the country by increasing national resilience through Matra Health Sciences. Efforts to strengthen the resilience of the State by increasing the degree of public health (there is a need for the community) The uneven distribution of health services in Indonesia, including Radiology Specialist Radiology services, with the highest number being in the Provinces of DKI Jakarta, West Java, East Java and Central Java. Radiology specialists with the least number are in North Kalimantan, North Maluku and West Sulawesi. In order to open and succeed in this Radiology Specialist study program.

Graduates will be equipped with qualified skills and knowledge related to diagnostic interventional radiology and radiology such as vascular ultrasonography (doppler), CT angiography , MR Angiography , the number of daily cases requiring interventional radiology services can reach around 30 cases per day, the availability of teaching resources, and facilities supporting infrastructure. In line with this, the Chancellor of UPNVJ, Anter Venus in his remarks reaffirmed that UPNVJ was ready to open the Specialist 1 Radiology Program, "The spirit and values of Defending the Country became the point where UPNVJ was determined to establish a Radiology Specialist 1. For UPNVJ the program for the establishment of a radiology specialist 1 is a form of State Defense to increase state resilience through strengthening the national Health defense system, as stated in the Minister of Defense Regulation Number 20 of 2014. This provision is in line with the Medical Education Bill Chapter II Article 4 concerning the Purpose of Medical Education in in 2021. One of the goals of medical education set out in the bill is to produce human resources in the fields of medicine and dentistry to meet health needs in Indonesia within the framework of the national health system as the foundation of the national resilience system, "explained Venus in her remarks

One of the health problems in Indonesia is the uneven distribution of health services. Health workers are currently piling up in urban areas while Remote Areas, Borders and Islands (DTPK) are experiencing a shortage of health workers. Terawan Agus Putranto in his presentation to the FK Visitation Team.

Graduates from this specialization are expected to become competent Radiology specialists and be able to return to the DTPK areas so that they can meet the even distribution of the needs of Radiology specialists in Indonesia.
