UPNVJ Public Relations – Taking place at the Diplomacy Laboratory of the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences UPN "Veteran" Jakarta (UPNVJ), the vision, mission and work program of FISIP Dean Candidates were conveyed at the Open Senate Session which was opened by the Chair of the FISIP Senate M. Chairil Akbar, SIP , MA

UPNVJ Chancellor, Dr. Anther Venus, MA. Comm hopes that through the dean election process which is carried out simultaneously, it is able to improve institutional governance. "In my leadership, it is a great hope that every day there is renewal and every day there is improvement in order to carry out transformation to achieve excellence" he concluded in his remarks.

In principle, the change in leadership at FISIP is based on the article on the appointment of the Dean because of the four candidates there is only one candidate who is eligible to reach the stage of vision and mission presentation. As explained by Venus, "There is only one candidate who has successfully been selected to date, so there is not an election but an appointment." he said.

The event was then continued with a report from the Head of FISIP Dean Election Aniqotul Ummah, M.Sos. "I hope that the Dean selection process can run smoothly, fairly and participatively and can provide great benefits for the entire FISIP academic family."

Submission of vision, mission and work programs by FISIP Dean Candidate Dr. S. Bekti Istiyanto, M.Si took place exploratively ending with a question and answer session. He is committed to improving the quality of lecturers through increasing and accelerating the academic positions of lecturers and also increasing cooperation and commitment to achieve the quality of Study Programs at FISIP to be superior.

In conveying the vision, mission and work program of the Candidate for Dean, it is known that the Deputy Chancellor II Dr. Prasetyo Hadi, SE., MM., CFMP. Acting Dean of FISIP Dr. Kusumajanti and Dean Candidate Dr. S. Bekti Istiyanto, M.Si and other University leaders.
