HumasUPNVJ - Jakarta "Veteran" National Development University (UPNVJ) is ready to carry out the Computer Based Writing Examination or UTBK this year. The first batch of UTBK will be held on 8-14 May 2023, while the second batch will be on 22-28 May 2023.

The location for UTBK implementation is in two places, namely UPNVJ's Pondok Labu Campus and UPNVJ's Limo Campus.

"Preparation is currently around 90 percent. We have prepared computers, checked the readiness of infrastructure, administrative aspects, signs and others. Everything is around 90 percent," said the Vice Chancellor for academics, Dr. Drs. R. Dudy Heryadi, M.Sc.

Different from the previous year, there is no longer any grouping of exams in this year's UTBK. All prospective students, regardless of their major at school, will take the same UTBK with four subjects for 195 minutes.

The four subjects are Scholastic Potential Test, Mathematical Reasoning, Literacy in Indonesian, and Literacy in English. "So regardless of their major in high school, the exams are the same," said Dudy.

When implementing UTBK later, one exam room will be filled with at least two supervisors. There are also computer technicians in each room to anticipate technical problems.

The supervisor must come to the test location at least one hour before the UTBK implementation. Fajar Nugroho, coordinator of the 2023 UPNVJ UTBK, stressed the importance for supervisors to pay attention to all tools that participants might use to commit fraud. (2/5)

"Tools such as glasses, masks, face shields and even belts that are connected to an internet connection," said Fajar.

Meanwhile, Dudy advised the participants to first check the exam location the day before UTBK. Last year, there was an incident where test takers came to the wrong exam location, which was supposed to be at the Pondok Labu Campus, but instead came to the Limo Campus and vice versa.

"Both UPN, but different locations for implementation. If time is tight, it's a pity for the exam participants," said Dudy.

UTBK UPNVJ 2023 is divided into two sessions, namely morning and afternoon. For the morning session, participants must enter the exam room at 06.45 WIB. As for the afternoon session, participants must be in the room at 12.30 WIB.
