FISIP UPNVJ and Faculty of Philology Synergy University Explore Educational Collaboration

Public RelationsUPNVJ - The Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIP) of the National Development University "Veteran" Jakarta (UPNVJ) and the Faculty of Philology from Synergy University Russia are exploring collaboration on the tridharma of higher education for various scientific projects, including education and research.

This assessment, carried out at the main campus of Russia's Synergy University in Moscow on November 24 2023, is a follow-up to the exploration of cooperation that was previously carried out online.

"The collaboration between FISIP UPNVJ and the Faculty of Philology will have a very good impact and benefit both parties. We hope that after this there will be a follow-up meeting to discuss the umbrella of this collaboration," said the Dean of FISIP UPNVJ Dr. S. Bekti Istiyanto, M.Sc.

Furthermore, the rector of Synergy University, Vasiliev Artem Igorevich, said that the partnership with UPNVJ was part of efforts to expand internationalization.

"Our university can be said to be the largest private campus in Russia. Our student body reaches 180 thousand students, and 17 thousand are foreign students from 93 countries except Indonesia," he said.

Indonesian Education Attaché, Adi Nuryanto, also encouraged Synergy University's collaboration with campuses in the country.

"We support Synergy University in implementing cooperation with FISIP UPNVJ as a bridge to open cooperation with other campuses in Indonesia in the future," said Adi.

Apart from the Dean of FISIP, the delegation from UPNVJ included the Head of the Department of Communication Sciences Munadhil Abdul Muqsith, education attaché Adi Nuryanto and Zinsky staff

The UPNVJ delegation's visit was carried out as a follow-up to the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) and expansion of the cooperation network to the cities of Nizhny Novgorod and Moscow in Russia in the period 21-24 November 2023. This visit has received approval from the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology and the Ministry of State Secretariat.
