UPNVJ and LKPP Collaborate in PBJP Level-1 Training for Employees

Public Relations of UPNVJ – In an effort to improve employee competency in the field of procurement of goods and services, the National Development University "Veteran" Jakarta (UPNVJ) through the Planning, Finance, and General Bureau (PKU Bureau) held a Level-1 Government Procurement of Goods/Services Competency Training (PBJP).

This training is intended for employees who do not yet have a PBJP Level-1 certificate and is facilitated by the Human Resources Training Center for Procurement of Goods/Services of the Government Goods/Services Procurement Policy Institute (SDM PBJ LKPP).

This activity lasts for 13 days, from 12 to 28 February 2025, with a learning method that combines e - learning and face-to-face.

This training is held with a blended learning model, which combines online and face-to-face independent learning methods. The series of activities consists of 10 days of e-learning, two days of face-to-face learning, and ends with a certification test on the last day.

In the e - learning session, participants are provided with essential materials related to PBJP, including an introduction to PBJP, planning, provider selection, contract management, self-managed PBJP management, and an introduction to Supply Chain Management (SCM). In addition, participants also took a try out on February 25, 2025 to prepare for the certification test.

The face-to-face learning that took place on February 26-27, 2025 aimed to strengthen participants' understanding of the material that had been studied previously. This activity presented facilitators from LKPP who provided direct guidance to participants. On the first day of the face-to-face session, the Vice Rector for Planning, Finance, and General Affairs of UPNVJ, Prof. Dr. Ir. Netti Herawati, M.Si, was also present and officially opened the event.

In her speech, Prof. Netti Herawati said, "This training is a strategic step in improving the capacity of human resources in the UPNVJ environment. By having PBJP certification, employees are expected to be more professional in handling the procurement process of goods/services, so that it can improve transparency and accountability in our institution."

This training will be closed with a certification test on February 28, 2025 with the aim of measuring participants' understanding and ensuring they have adequate competence in the PBJP field. It is hoped that with this training, UPNVJ employees can be more prepared and competent in managing the procurement of goods and services in accordance with applicable regulations.
