HumasUPNVJ - Universitas Pembangunan Nasional "Veteran" Jakarta (UPNVJ) is one of the centers for the implementation of the Computer-Based Written Examination - National Selection Based on Tests (UTBK-SNBT) in 2025. Since the first day starting on April 23, 2025, the campus atmosphere has been filled with thousands of participants from various areas of Jabodetabek and its surroundings.

The implementation of UTBK at UPNVJ is spread across two main locations, namely the Pondok Labu Campus and the Limo Campus, Depok. This exam is held in two sessions every day, with strict supervision and technical protocols to ensure the integrity and comfort of participants. "We have prepared for the implementation of UTBK since the beginning of the year, starting from infrastructure, socialization to the committee, to coordinating security and cleanliness," said Fajar Nugroho, Coordinator of Penmaru UPNVJ 2025.

"In addition, we also pay close attention to the devices used in this case the participant's computer, the supervisor's computer and also the server including the network and electricity installations. For the implementation, we have a recruitment process, scheduling process and direction for each implementer according to their respective officers to ensure the Location Responsible Person (PJL) supervisor, up to IT technicians to know and understand the procedures and mechanisms that must be carried out during the implementation of UTBK - SNBT. Not only that, we also prepare exam materials such as providing ATK, opaque paper and including an album of evidence of participant attendance at each exam implementation," Fajar continued to the UPNVJ Public Relations team (23/4).

He added that around 22,621 participants are scheduled to take the UTBK at UPNVJ throughout the exam period, April 23 to May 5, 2025.

The UPNVJ Public Relations Team also had the opportunity to conduct a direct interview with the Information and Communication Technology Coordinator, Asep Saiful Ridwan regarding preparations for server installation on campus.

"From the ICT side, because so far in 2025, we are among the participants with the largest quota, last year 830, this year 1020 sessions so our preparation, we need more adequate PCs and rooms. We added 5 rooms from the previous total, and from these 5 rooms we did a new installation that requires extra manpower for technicians, besides that we also provide devices such as PCs and other devices as usual. Every thing that happens in the UPNVJ environment, both obstacles and differences, we will always consolidate with the central committee," concluded Asep.

Field monitoring showed that participants appeared enthusiastic and orderly. Some participants even arrived more than an hour before the exam schedule started to ensure they were not late. One participant, Kalya Kokoro (18) from Jakarta, admitted that she had prepared herself for months. "I prepared many things such as practice questions and many more," she said.

"At the UTBK-SNBT UPNVJ center, the place is comfortable and the entry process is orderly. So you can focus on doing the exam," he continued.
Meanwhile, the UTBK-SNBT UPNVJ technical team ensures that the system runs smoothly. All possibilities, including network and power outages, have been anticipated with power backups and technicians on standby in each exam room.

The implementation of UTBK-SNBT 2025 will last until early May. UPNVJ also opens information and assistance services at special posts for participants who experience technical problems or need additional information.

With orderly and responsive implementation, UPNVJ hopes to provide a comfortable and fair exam experience for all participants. "This is one of our real contributions in supporting quality national selection, and we hope that all UTBK-SNBT 2025 participants will get the best results," Fajar concluded.
