Public Relations of UPNVJ - The Undergraduate Study Program in Film, Television, and Media Studies, Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (KFTVM FISIP) of the National Development University “Veteran” Jakarta (UPNVJ) received a visit from the Bina Sarana Global Institute of Technology & Business.
This activity is part of a comparative study of the curriculum in the same study program as well as discussing the potential for cooperation on the Tri Dharma of Higher Education.
Deputy Dean for Academic Affairs of FISIP UPNVJ Fitria Ayuningtyas said that the curriculum visit was a positive step to jointly exchange ideas about learning in the KFTVM FISIP UPNVJ undergraduate study program.
"Regarding the curriculum, each university has its own characteristics," explained Fitria at the UPNVJ Pondok Labu Campus, Wednesday, May 14, 2025.
Meanwhile, the Dean of the Faculty of Informatics and Communication Engineering (FTIK) of the Bina Sarana Global Institute of Technology & Business, M. Ramaddan Julianti, who also attended the event, said he was grateful for the implementation of the activity as a comparative study.
This momentum is a positive opportunity to exchange ideas and improve the quality of education.
"Currently, we are preparing an ideal curriculum to comply with the ministry's nomenclature regarding this study program," said M. Ramaddan.
Coordinator of the Undergraduate Study Program of KFTVM FISIP UPNVJ, Dede Suprayitno welcomed this activity. The discussion went smoothly and both parties were able to exchange ideas regarding curriculum development.
"We have also taken similar steps in other campuses. We also study and compare what the ideal curriculum is," said Dede.
The KFTVM FISIP UPNVJ study program is said to have a unique characteristic for developing a curriculum based on National Defense values.
The KFTVM curriculum is also developed based on three major areas, namely film, television and media. In addition, the curriculum structure is also divided into 40% on practice and 60% on theory.
"This is to overcome the focus on the FTVM study," added Dede.
Head of the FTVM Study Program, Bina Sarana Global Institute of Technology & Business, Halim Agung, hopes that the results of this activity can be followed up with several other programs.
