HumasUPNVJ - Commemorating the 57th Anniversary this year UPNVJ held several series of events, including the Workshop which was held yesterday (6/1) and the Scientific Oration of the UPN "Veteran" Jakarta Open Session by a legal expert from UPNVJ Faculty of Law, Dr. Wicipto today which was held at the Bhinneka Tunggal Ika Auditorium, Lt. 4. The event was opened with a report on the achievements of the Chancellor of UPNVJ, Erna Hernawati "Thank God UPNVJ's development is progressing from year to year. Interest occurs very significantly every year, you can see that UPNVJ is in the top 10 with the highest tightness in the 2019 SNMPTN and SBMPTN. That way, parents trust us as a university that can provide good and quality learning to students. In addition, the increase in the UPNVJ cluster has also increased, starting from 143 yesterday, in 2019 we experienced an increase in the PTN ranking at 77." Obviously

The open session was followed by a scientific oration from Dr. Wicipto with the theme of the oration was "Regulatory Simplification Through the Omnibus Law Approach, a Necessity". In his oration, Wicipto discussed many matters regarding regulations, one of which was the steps that needed to be taken in drafting regulations, "The steps that need to be taken in drafting regulations through the omnibus law approach are conducting a truly comprehensive study in the form of academic papers, including regarding analysis of costs and benefits ( cost and benefit analysis). Furthermore, an inventory is made of how many regulations and regulations are affected and what legal actions need to be taken against the affected regulations: revoked, revised, and so on." After the scientific oration, UPNVJ also presented the Book of Defending the Country which had been well prepared by the team that UPNVJ had formed.

This year's anniversary was attended by UPNVJ lecturers, staff and students, as well as several VIP guests, including former UPNVJ Chancellors, UPN "Veteran" Chancellor Yogyakarta, UPN "Veteran" Chancellor East Java, Depok Police Chief and other invited guests .
