HumasUPNVJ - In order to celebrate the 78th Independence Day of the Republic of Indonesia, UPN Veterans Jakarta (UPNVJ) students, lecturers and educational staff held a parade and fashion show.

Different from the previous year where UPNVJ used custom and traditional themes, this year the theme that was carried was Merah Putih to celebrate RI's 78th Anniversary.

"This year is a different year where this year we create an ocean of Red and White on our beloved campus, I hope that the red and white passion will also continue to be embedded in all the hearts of the UPNVJ academic community without exception and remind us to continue to make the nation's name proud," said UPNVJ Chancellor Dr. Anther Venus.

High enthusiasm was shown by lecturers and teaching staff. They made their appearance as creative and unique as possible in the festive nuances of Merah Putih.

With creativity, the lecturers and teaching staff gave their best performances in parade competitions and fashion shows which were held alternately according to the work unit.

One of the shows is the Faculty of Health Sciences. They look stunning in their headdresses, just like the peacock's crown.

Each work unit is given the opportunity by the judges to show their creations and uniqueness in parades and fashion shows. The winner gets a cash prize.
