Monday, August 17 2015 at the UPN "Veteran" Jakarta Campus Ceremony Field a flag ceremony was held in commemoration of the 70th anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia as well as opening the Introduction to Campus Life event for New TA students. 2015/2016. The ceremony which started at 07.30 WIB took place solemnly and gave the impression of the spirit of independence to the younger generation which will give bright hopes for the future.
Acting as UPNVJ Chancellor Ceremony Supervisor Prof. Dr. Ir. Eddy S. Siradj, M.Sc. Eng was also attended by the UPNVJ Senate Council, the Vice Chancellors, the Deans/Dir PPs., Ka. UPNVJ Satker, Employees, New Students and UPNVJ Security Unit.
In his remarks, the Minister of Research, Technology and Higher Education, which was read by the Ceremonial Trustees, said that an independent Indonesia is a golden bridge built by the father and mother of the Indonesian nation to realize all the hopes of the nation and state. Hope that can only be achieved with work. Only through hard work will the Indonesian nation achieve prosperity and glory to realize all the noble ideals contained in the Preamble to the 1945 Constitution. Therefore, in commemoration of the 70th Anniversary of Indonesian Independence, the Government of Indonesia launched the "AYO WORK" National Movement. . President Joko Widodo is determined to make the national Let's Work Indonesia Movement a starting point for realizing the ideals of Indonesian independence with a spirit of mutual cooperation.
The next event was the symbolic handover of the 2015/2016 UPNVJ New Students to the Dean of the Faculty and the embedding of participants' marks for Introduction to Campus Life for new students to the Chancellor.
On this occasion, the Chancellor of UPNVJ gave a mandate which read UPNVJ is a living monument, which develops dynamically and is adaptive to the times. UPNVJ continues to position itself as the front guard in saving the nation and fostering a sense of love for the motherland. The Introduction to Campus Life (PK2) activity is an effort and the first step in forming the positive character of students in living academic and non-academic life at UPNVJ.
Faculty of Economics, a total of 361 students with student representatives Vingky Eva Ariesta. Faculty of Engineering, a total of 106 students with student representatives M. Irsyad J. Gunawan. The Faculty of Computer Science has a total of 100 students with student representatives Ari Dwi Cahyo. The Faculty of Medicine has 162 students with student representatives Yuliana Saraswati. The Faculty of Social and Political Sciences has a total of 228 students with student representatives Ardiyani Dewi Saputri. The Faculty of Law has 149 students with representatives from Sekar Tanjung Ajita and the Faculty of Health Sciences has 281 students with representatives from Rangga Dwi S students and UPNVJ students' Catur Prasetya pronunciation represented by Nurul Fajrin from the Faculty of Health Sciences.
