HumasUPNVJ – UPN “Veteran” Jakarta (UPNVJ) has inaugurated a new library at the Faculty of Law (FH), as a concrete step in supporting the learning and research process in the academic environment. The inauguration was carried out by the Chancellor of UPNVJ, Prof. Dr. Anter Venus, MA., Comm. who was accompanied by the Dean of FH UPNVJ, Dr. Suherman, SH., LL.M and Professor of FH UPNVJ Prof. Dr. Bambang Waluyo, SH, MH as well as the ranks of university and faculty leaders.

The inauguration ceremony which took place on Wednesday, January 24, 2025, was also attended by a number of students, lecturers, and other related parties. In his remarks, the Chancellor of UPNVJ stated that this library will be a center for information resources that not only supports academic activities, but also becomes a place for the academic community to develop insights, especially in the field of law.

"This library is not only a place to read and search for references, but also a space that will strengthen the quality of education at the UPNVJ Faculty of Law. We hope that this facility can have a positive impact on students and lecturers in developing the potential of science," said the Rector in his speech.

In addition, Suherman as Dean of FH UPNVJ revealed that this library is equipped with various modern facilities, such as a comfortable reading room, access to international law journals, and a collection of books that are continuously updated. This is expected to make it easier for students and lecturers to access the latest literature in the field of law.

The UPNVJ FH Library is also designed with a technology-friendly concept, where visitors can utilize digital facilities to access various academic resources through a sophisticated library information system.

With the inauguration of this library, it is hoped that FH UPNVJ will be increasingly able to produce graduates who are not only academically competent, but also have the integrity and ability to face legal challenges in the future.
