Introducing the World of Lectures, UPNVJ Industrial Engineering Faculty Students Go Directly into the Community

In the framework of Community Service, the UPN "Veteran" Jakarta Industrial Engineering Student Association class of 2016 together with the Rimbani Foundation held CERIA (Smart, Creative, Active) Learning activities for the community around the Rimbani Foster Children Foundation located at the Baitul Mughni Mosque, Jl.Gatot Subroto kav 26 Karet Setiabudi, South Jakarta.
The implementation of this activity lasted for 4 (four) days with 4 different sessions, namely the first day was carried out on January 21 2018 which was filled with the provision of initial material by the event committee, the second day on January 28 2018 will be filled with scientific practicum for each class, the third day on February 3 2018 will focus on grades 11 and 12 to provide lecture motivation seminars and explanations for lectures, the fourth day will be held on February 4 2018, on the last day there will be a closing ceremony filled with bazaar activities and book distribution for the surrounding community and foster children of the Rimbani Foundation.
There were 390 participants who attended the CERIA Learning activities which included Industrial Engineering Students class of 2016 and participants from the Rimbani Foundation consisting of Elementary, Middle and High School students. Raditya Andy Darmawan Surya as the Chief Executive conveyed the benefits of holding the event, "The benefit for us is to increase the awareness of UPNVJ Industrial Engineering students to be able to uphold education optimally and become useful people for society. For the sake of carrying out one of the tridharma of higher education, namely community service and as one of the activities to improve faculty accreditation & advance the university," he said in his interview, Wednesday (24/01).
Raditya also expressed his hope that this event would continue every year, so that there would be good cooperation with the Foundation and the surrounding community. Apart from that, Raditya also hopes that the CERIA Learning activity will receive more support from all academics, especially the Faculty of Industrial Engineering UPNVJ.
