Jakarta - UPN "Veteran" Jakarta and all academicians held various series of activities in commemoration of Kartini Day which were held at the Bhineka Tunggal Ika Auditorium, Monday (23/04/18).

This time, the commemoration of Kartini Day has the theme "The Value of Kartini in Industry 4.0" with the aim that Kartini UPNVJ can increase participation in building families, institutions, the nation and the State. In the Kartini Day Commemoration ceremony Vice Rector II Dr. Erna Hernawati, Ak, CPMA, CA conveyed the message from the Chancellor of UPNVJ that as women in this era they can increase their role in building the family and the country and in the development of women can fill it according to their nature and nature.

“ It is hoped that the current Kartinis, especially at UPNVJ, can increase their participation in building families, institutions, the nation and the state. And with the existing changes, women can anticipate every change and fill it in accordance with their nature and nature, "he said.

In addition, Deputy Chancellor II also added that the achievements that had been made by UPNVJ were the UPNVJ Chancellor's achievement targets contained in the Chancellor's performance agreement for the 2018 period covering the Tridharma of Higher Education. This is important as a measure of UPNVJ's contribution as PTN Satker in Kemenristekdikti's performance achievements. Several achievement indicators in 2018 included 5 excellent accredited Study Programs, obtaining superior accreditation status for institutions, the number of publications at national and international levels and the number of outstanding students at national and international levels.

Not only commemorating Kartini's Day, this time UPNVJ also commemorated Earth Day with Pere smian UPNVJ Garbage Bank which was attended by the South Jakarta Regional Environment Agency. This activity is the second time UPNVJ has collaborated with the Environment Agency. In addition, this activity was enlivened by attractive performances by UPNVJ students and female employees with fashion shows from various regions in Indonesia.
