Implementation of ISO 9001: 2015 External Audit UPNVJ

HumasUPNVJ - In order to improve the Tri Dharma of Higher Education the Development, Learning and Quality Assurance Institute (LP3M) UPNVJ held "ISO 9001: 2015 Certification Audit Implementation" by PT. Decra Indonesia, located in the Nusantara Meeting Room 1 UPNVJ Rectorate Building.

The event which took place for 2 days 30 - 31 August 2018 was attended by all Deans and representatives of work units within UPNVJ which will later be audited as a requirement of ISO 9001: 2015.

This event was opened by the Chancellor of UPNVJ, in his opening remarks he said "Implementation of ISO 9001:2015 Certification is very important because it is to upgrade our previous ISO certification with a new ISO on a risk basis. This will also affect our existence in the future. Hopefully our ISO can be extended by adding risk management as a basic point for us and it can be implemented in UPNVJ management as well as possible," he said.

Implementation of the ISO 9001:2015 Certification Audit includes checking the fulfillment of document requirements and implementation of documents related to the requirements of ISO 9001:2015. With the issuance of ISO 9001: 2015 quality management system certification by PT Decra Indonesia, it will provide many benefits, one of which is to provide quality and quality assurance. Apart from being used as a weapon to compete with other institutions, ISO 9001:2015 is also a quality guarantor for an institution. This will foster public trust in the institution that will provide excellent service processes, both from an academic and administrative perspective. ISO's function is to ensure that service procedures in an institution are standardized so that the implementation of the program is clear. Basically, the application of ISO in tertiary institutions is to ensure the satisfaction of students, lecturers, employees, and parties involved.

In closing the ISO 9001:2015 Audit, Ir. Sholichin Agung Darmawan (Managing Director of PT. Decra Indonesia) said "Thank God the Audit at UPNVJ went smoothly and we did not find any findings that had an unfavorable impact on UPNVJ Students. However, there are a number of things that must be corrected immediately so that there are no bad potentials for the future," he concluded.
