The Delegation of the Delegation of the Faculty of Law at the National Veterans Development University Jakarta, has just finished participating in the "Riau Law Fair 2019" organized by the Student Executive Board of the Faculty of Law, University of Riau, with the theme: "Legal Politics Formation of Indigenous Law Community Laws in Indonesia". This event has 3 series of events namely the National Debate Competition, the National Scientific Writing Competition and the National Seminar.

UPN Veterans Jakarta Faculty of Law debate delegation consisting of Elaina Aurylia Permadi, class student (2016), Rika Putri Wulandari (class of 2017), Berliana Yuliyanti Wijaya (class of 2017) and Khoirur Rizal Lutfi, SH., MH as supervisor lecturer. These students are also members of the Student Research and Debate Forum (FRDM) Faculty of Law, Jakarta Veterans National Development University which is concerned with research and student debate. After previously eliminating their opponents in the preliminary rounds, the UPNVJ FH Debate Team succeeded in advancing to the final to fight for first place. In this session the FH debate team succeeded in eliminating their opponent with a satisfying score.

In the debate branch, 1st place was won by the Faculty of Law UPN Veteran Jakarta, 2nd place was won by the Faculty of Law at UIN Sultan Syarif Kasim Riau and 3rd place was won by the Faculty of Law at Maranata Christian University. The best speaker was won by the Faculty of Law, University of Medan Area. While in the LKTI branch, 1st place was won by FH UII which also won the best paper award, 2nd place was won by FH UGM, 3rd place was won by FH UII.

This event was held and took place from 21-24 March 2019 at the Faculty of Law, University of Riau. With this achievement, with all the support that has been given by the Board of Directors, Lecturers and all parties, it is hoped that they will be able to carve out and add to a series of other achievements in the future.
