Building Superior Human Resources for Advanced Indonesia, Theme of UPNVJ's 57th Anniversary

HumasUPNVJ - The workshop was held as a series of the 57th UPNVJ Anniversary with the theme "Building Excellent Human Resources for Advanced Indonesia" by presenting three speakers, including Dr. Ir. Hetifah Sjaifudin, MPP (Member of DPR RI Commission X), Buyung Zaelani (Main Secretary of BIN), and Endang Hidayatullah (Director of Human Capital and Bank BNI Compliance). (6/01)

Also present were the Chancellor of UPN "Veteran" Yogyakarta, Dr. Mohamad Irhas Effendi, MS and Chancellor of UPN "Veteran" East Java, Prof. Dr. Ir. Akhmad Fauzi, MMT in celebrating this year's UPNVJ Anniversary.

The first material presented by Hetifah Sjaifudin as a member of the DPR RI Commission X focused on regulations. In her presentation, she quoted the Speech on the 74th Indonesian Independence Day, President Joko Widodo said: Indonesia is not afraid to face global competition. Superior Human Resources, possessing the creativity, innovation and speed to compete globally so as to be able to leapfrog other nations in the world, “New technologies will emerge and cause extraordinary changes in all disciplines, economy and industry. With good human resource development management, these challenges will be overcome and all strategic positions owned by Indonesia can be optimized.” Obviously

Hetifah also gave a message to the students present that there were several characteristics that future superior HR must have, including: Adaptability, Flexibility, Creativity, Communication Skills, Integrity, Caring and Compassion.

The presentation was continued with material by Buyung Zaelani as Main Secretary of BIN which focused on challenges and threats, in his presentation he explained several things, including regarding several economic challenges in 2020-2024, namely: Global uncertainty, Indonesia's stagnant economic growth, increasing transaction deficit running, and the industrial revolution 4.0 and the digital economy. And explaining the impact that Indonesia will get from the Industrial Revolution, "There are positive and negative impacts that we will get with the Industrial Revolution 4.0, which can be seen from productivity and efficiency for various sectors and for the negative impact is the potential loss of jobs due to automation. Therefore, BIN's role in supporting superior human resources is to prevent, embankment, deterrence against national security to support superior human resources." Obviously

The activity was closed with material provided by Endang Hidayatullah as the Director of Human Capital and Compliance at Bank BNI who explained about "Setting a Mindset and Building a Mindset". master the skills, master the science of the present and the future. The series of the 57th UPNVJ Anniversary will be continued tomorrow (7/01) with the agenda for the Open Session and Scientific Orations presented by Dr. Wicipto Setiadi, SH., MH with the oration title, Regulatory Simplification Through the Omnibus Law Approach, a Necessity.
