HumasUPNVJ - The pandemic period has not yet ended, but the enthusiasm of all UPN Veteran Jakarta students has never faded to continue working and achieve many achievements. It can be seen from the two UPNVJ students, Fillah Maulana and Fina Puspita who managed to get two predicates at once, namely winning 1st place and favorite winner in the Poster Competition with the theme of Youth Ideas in the New Year for the Progress of Indonesia with the sub-theme of Education organized by KOMPOSIA (Indonesian Youth Competition). ) at national level.
The PR team had the opportunity to conduct an online interview with Fillah and Fina, in the interview, they explained about the competition they participated in, "150 participants participated in this competition in all the branches of the competition. There are poster and essay contests for students and students. The poster competition itself was attended by 35 participants. Participants came from State Universities and Private Universities, including the University of Indonesia, Gadjah Mada University, Lampung University, Udayana University, Bogor Agricultural Institute, Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa University, Hasanuddin University, Airlangga University, Jakarta State University, North Sumatra University, Institute of Technology Kalimantan, UPN Veteran Jakarta, UPN Veteran Yogyakarta, UPN Veteran East Java, Jakarta State Polytechnic and other universities spread across 5 Indonesian islands," explained Fina representing Fillah
They also stated that they wanted to take part in this competition because Fillah and Fina saw a wide open opportunity so they wanted to take advantage of it.
Fillah explained that the competition was held in full online through the Instagram social media platform . The competition starts from 1 February 2022 to 25 February 2022.
In his written statement, this poster competition went through the registration stage on February 1-12 in advance. This competition can be participated in individually or in teams with a maximum of 2 people on each team. The Poster Competition took the theme "Youth Ideas in the New Year for Indonesia's Advancement Through Education". Then the collection of works starts from 1-12 February 2022. via google form . Then there will be a round of work evaluation through voting for 3 days starting from 21-24 February 2022. Winners will be announced on 25 January 2022 online via the WhatsApp group and Instagram on Komposia's social media pages.
"We often have discussions to discuss the design concept and sub-themes for the competition. At first we determined in advance about the sub-themes we wanted to take. Then we finally decided to take the education sub-theme. Then we also determine the design concept that we want to take, namely in the form of an infographic poster. After that, we collected some education-related data relevant to the competition theme. Then we carried out the final process, namely editing the poster, explained Fina in answer to the PR team's questions regarding their process for participating in this competition.
Fillah and Fina also shared their ups and downs during the competition. “During the process of preparing for the activity there were many ups and downs that we went through. Actually, I can lose my joy more because doing design is what I love so the process of doing it feels very enjoyable, especially when I have a partner who supports and helps during activity preparation so everything feels easier. The grief that we feel is because it's still a pandemic, this has made it difficult for us to communicate because we can't discuss it directly, "said Fina
