HumasUPNVJ - Today, Tuesday (24/8/22) is quite an important day in the series of events to elect a new Chancellor for UPNVJ. The reason is that on this day numbers are taken for the UPNVJ Rector candidates. The event which took place in the Bhinneka Tunggal Ika Hall was attended by five potential Chancellor candidates (balloons) along with their team members to take election numbers.

The event started at 9.00 which was initiated by the report from the chairman of the UPNVJ Chancellor selection committee, Satria Yudhia W. In his report, Satria said that this process was in accordance with the rules of the Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education "So we try to always comply with the directions from the Ministry (Kemendikbud). So far, we have always reported what progress has been made by the committee regarding this matter." In addition, regarding the postponement of the date that was informed by the committee, Satria also apologized but said this was still in accordance with the committee's deadline "we apologize if there is a date which was postponed regarding this process, but once again this is the result of consultation with the Ministry and also the days are still considered normal because they are only a few days different”

Apart from Satria, the Head of the UPNVJ Senate, Prof.dr. Bambang Waluyo also attended the event. Bambang said that all of the candidates had good characteristics so that voters were expected to choose wisely among all of them "I believe these five candidates are good people, so we have to choose the best among the good ones'. Bambang added that whoever is elected can be the right leader for UPNVJ "Whoever will be elected as Chancellor, everyone hopes that they can advance UPNVJ. Not advancing the building, but advancing the quality” he added jokingly.

The final result of taking this number is; Number 1. Dr Anter Venus, 2. Dr. R Duddy Heryadi, 3. Prof. dr.drg, Wahyu, 4. Dr. Abdul Halim, M.Ag., and 5. Dr. Taufik Fredrik Pasiak.

After this event, the next series of events is the socialization of each prospective Chancellor candidate which will be carried out starting on August 26 2022, while the presentation of the vision and mission and questions and answers to the prospective Chancellor candidates of UPNVJ will be held on August 31.
