Penmaru 2024: UPNVJ Ready to Accept 4,400 New Students from Various Pathways

Public Relations UPNVJ - Jakarta "Veteran" National Development University has officially opened the 2024 new student admission process (Penmaru). This year's admission quota is 4,400 students, up from the previous year's figure of 3,930.

This year, UPNVJ offers 26 study programs from seven faculties, namely the Faculty of Medicine, Health Sciences, Economics and Business, Social and Political Sciences, Engineering, Law and Computer Science.

The 2024 UPNVJ Penmaru distribution comes from three channels. First, Achievement Based National Selection (SNBP) of 880 quotas or 20 percent; Test-Based National Selection (SNBT) of 2,200 or 50 percent; and 1,318 people or 30 percent from Independent Selection (SEMA).

UPNVJ Chancellor Dr. Anter Venus, MA., Comm said that UPNVJ is one of the favorite universities in Indonesia, which, if seen from the number of applicants, has always been ranked in the top 10 in the last three years.

"UPNVJ provides opportunities that are open to all of you. UPNVJ provides education whose orientation is to equip you to become competent and characterful graduates, so that you can adapt to the world of life and the world of work," said Venus in the UPNVJ Penmaru Live Podcast event on Tuesday, 6 February 2024.

"There are 26 study programs at UPNVJ which are managed very professionally. We are truly committed to providing the best educational services," he continued.

UPNVJ also opened the Smart Indonesia Card (KIP) College route for this year, which includes the Jakarta Excellent Student Card (KJMU). This route can only be taken via SNBP and SNBT.

For Independent Selection, UPNVJ will assess prospective students based on their SNBT scores and the results of the State Defense Test which contains questions about Citizenship, Pancasila and National Insight.

SEMA UPNVJ also includes an achievement track. Prospective students who wish to enter through this route will be assessed based on their SNBT results of 50 percent, and the remaining 50 percent will be based on their achievements.
