Student Achievement: UPNVJ Chancellor Calls for Seriousness Regarding Contests and Competitions

UPNVJ Public Relations - The independent competition or competition that we hold is an important agenda for UPNVJ, and this must be held seriously. This was conveyed by the Chancellor of the National Development University "Veteran" Jakarta, Dr. Anter Venus, MA., Comm at the 2023 Kaleidoscope event at the Bhinneka Tunggal Ika Auditorium on January 31 2024.

Speaking in the session of giving awards and appreciation to students, Venus once again emphasized the importance of seriousness in participating in competitions or competitions at national and international levels.

He called on every faculty to make organizing and participating in competitions part of their routine. "We want this to be held regularly," said Venus.

"We also want all of this to be done more seriously. We can prepare funding later," he continued.

In particular, Venus appreciated the Faculty of Health Sciences (FIKES) which has been very active in activities related to competitions and competitions. He hopes that other faculties can also follow the example of FIKES and make the competition a joint agenda involving achievement targets.

Apart from student achievements, Venus also talked about the Independent Learning-Free Campus (MBKM), including the Internship and Certified Independent Study Program (MSIB).

"We have targeted 1,000 (MSIB) to get into the top 10 nationally. I thank you all. Let's work together to ensure that everyone can participate in each class," said Venus. (*wit/PRUPNVJ)
