UPNVJ Chancellor Signs Collaboration on Teaching Practitioner Program Class 4 of 2024

Public RelationsUPNVJ - Jakarta, 06 May 2024 – The Chancellor of UPN "Veteran" Jakarta (UPNVJ) together with the Head of the Learning Development Center attended an invitation from the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology (KEMENDIKBUDRISTEK) number 1451/E4/DT.01.01/2024 regarding the Signing Ceremony activities Collaboration on Teaching Practitioner Program Batch 4 of 2024 at the Ministry of Education and Culture, Central Jakarta.

Teaching Practitioner is a program initiated by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology (Kemendikbudristek) so that college graduates are better prepared to enter the world of work. This program encourages active collaboration between lecturers and expert practitioners from various companies and offices to create a deep and meaningful exchange of knowledge and expertise between academics in universities and professionals in the world of work.

The Chancellor of UPNVJ and the Chancellors of other universities were very enthusiastic about attending and taking part in the series of ceremonial activities on this agenda.

"I hope that students can be better prepared to enter the world of work, and become future leaders in various career choices according to their individual interests and potential," said Anter Venus, Chancellor of UPNVJ on his occasion.

This collaboration is carried out in courses delivered in the classroom, both offline and online. In this program, courses are designed and managed jointly or collaboratively between lecturers and practitioners, so that students can obtain holistic learning that connects theory with field practice.

"The impact of this collaboration is very large for UPNVJ graduates in preparing themselves to enter the world of work. "So I urge all course coordinator lecturers to always be actively involved in this program in order to support the achievement of the graduate profile that has been determined and increase the absorption of graduates in the world of work," said Venus.

He also hopes that with the teaching practitioner program, universities can synergize with DUDI so that they can create graduates who are competitive, relevant to the needs of the business world, and have good soft skills/hard skills. Independent Campus!!! Continue.
