HumasUPNVJ – Universitas Pembangunan Nasional “Veteran” Jakarta (UPNVJ) has once again made history by inaugurating two outstanding academics as professors. Prof. Dr. Anter Venus, MA., Comm was officially inaugurated as Professor in the field of Communication Science, while Prof. Dr. Taufiqurrahman, SH., MH received the title of Professor in the field of Law & State. The event, which took place at the Bhinnema Tunggal Ika Auditorium, was attended by academics, education staff, and other invited guests.
The inauguration ceremony began with scientific orations delivered by each professor. Prof. Dr. Anter Venus, MA., Comm delivered a scientific oration entitled "Indonesian Communication Values: Exploration for a Systematic Model." In her oration, Prof. Venus discussed the importance of developing a communication model based on Indonesian values that is systematic and relevant to the social and cultural dynamics in Indonesia.
Meanwhile, Prof. Dr. Taufiqurrahman, SH., MH delivered a scientific oration entitled "Harmonization of the Principles of Democracy, Nomocracy, and Theocracy for a Just Indonesian State Law Based on the Constitution." In his presentation, Prof. Taufiq discussed how the three principles can be harmonized in order to create a just state legal system in accordance with the Indonesian constitution.
After the scientific oration, the inauguration of the two professors was carried out by the Chairman of the UPNVJ Senate, Prof. Dr. dr. Basuki Supartono, SpOT, FICS, ARS. In his speech, Prof. Basuki expressed his appreciation for the dedication and contribution of the two professors in the development of science in their respective fields. He also hopes that this achievement will further motivate the UPNVJ academic community to continue to innovate and contribute to the progress of the nation.
With this inauguration, UPNVJ further strengthens its commitment to producing academics and thinkers who are not only superior in their fields, but also have a strong national insight. Hopefully the success of Prof. Dr. Anter Venus and Prof. Dr. Taufiqurrahman will be an inspiration for the next generation of academics.
