HumasUPNVJ - Jakarta, June 4 2023 - A student from the Bachelor of Medicine Study Program, Faculty of Medicine, Jakarta "Veteran" National Development University (UPNVJ), won 2nd place in the 2023 MEDSCO Essay Competition (Medical Scientific Competition). This competition is an annual scientific event organized by the AMSA Faculty of Medicine, University of Jambi and taking place from 1 to 4 June 2023.
Participants from UPNVJ who won this brilliant achievement were Royal Eden More Silaban. In the MEDSCO Essay competition, Royal Eden More Silaban succeeded in submitting an interesting and informative essay. His essay raised the topic "Tropical Infection as Neglected Diseases in Post Pandemic Era (TRIATOMINE)" according to the main theme of the event.
Royal Eden More Silaban supported by dr. Ayodya Heristyorini, M.Sc as his supervisor in the preparation and compilation of quality scientific essays. With good guidance and persistence in research, Royal Eden More Silaban managed to create an essay that combines scientific understanding and valuable perspectives regarding tropical infections as neglected diseases in the post-pandemic era.
MEDSCO 2023 is a national scale scientific event that will be held online via Zoom Meeting on May 27 2023. This event presents a series of scientific competitions, including Scientific Essays, Public Posters, and Scientific Papers. This competition provides opportunities for medical students from various tertiary institutions to share knowledge, develop academic skills, and raise current medical issues.
The organizer, AMSA Faculty of Medicine, University of Jambi, warmly welcomed the achievements made by Royal Eden More Silaban from UPNVJ.
