HumasUPNVJ - The Moot Court Unit Team, Faculty of Law, National Development University "Veteran" Jakarta (FH UPNVJ) succeeded in achieving a brilliant achievement in the National Moot Court Competition Criminal Law Hotma Sitompoel Trophy 2023. They won 3rd place in this prestigious competition.

The National Moot Court Competition Criminal Law Hotma Sitompoel Trophy 2023 was attended by 16 delegates from State and Private Universities in Indonesia, including:

Jakarta Veterans National Development University sent a delegation of the UPNVJ FH UPS Team consisting of 19 students from UPNVJ Faculty of Law and 1 of their supervisors, Dr. Heru Sugiyono SH, MH

The UPS FH UPNVJ team showed strong dedication and preparation during this competition. The achievements of the FH UPNVJ Moot Court Team were not easy. The process of filing investigations and trial documents was prepared and prepared from February-May 2023, while trial simulation exercises were carried out in June-July 2023.

The competition began with an opening ceremony on July 7 2023 at the Grand Mercure Kemayoran Hotel - Central Jakarta, while a trial simulation was held on July 8 2023 for the preliminary round and July 9 2023 for the final round, which took place at the Central Jakarta District Court. Adapu. the Closing Ceremony as well as the announcement of the winners will be held on the evening of 9 July 2023 at the Grand Mercure Hotel Kemayoran - Central Jakarta.

They managed to earn some impressive individual and team awards. The UPNVJ FH Team won the Best File, Best Witness/Expert, Best Accused, and Most Popular Post awards. This award is the result of their hard work and perseverance in preparing and presenting strong legal arguments in a trial simulation.

Dr. Heru Sugiyono SH, MH, as the supervising lecturer, was proud of the achievements his team had achieved. "This is the result of extraordinary teamwork. I really appreciate their dedication and commitment in facing this competition. This achievement is proof that we have extraordinary talents and abilities among UPNVJ FH students," he said with pride.

The National Moot Court Competition Criminal Law Hotma Sitompoel Trophy 2023 provides an opportunity for law students to hone their skills in arguing before the court. This competition also provides valuable experience in understanding the justice system and prepares participants for a successful legal career in the future.
