Tuesday, 24 February 2015 which took place at the Auditorium Lt. IV Gd. Gen. Soedirman UPNVJ held the first birthday celebration of one of the Student Activity Units (UKM), namely UKM MC. UKM, which has the tagline "MAKIN NGEHITZ", was founded a year ago, on January 28, 2014, to be precise, as a forum for students to accommodate their interests and talents in the field of Public Speaking . To speak in public as a Master of Ceremony or what is commonly called an MC requires its own technique. This is where students get, form and develop their potential in the field of MC through this UKM.

Present at the event was Karo Kermawa and his staff, UKM MC coaches, Ormawa, UKM representatives, and other invitees. Also enlivening the event who appeared as a guest star was UPNVJ Band UKM "UBV" who performed several songs with their versions.

On this occasion, MC UKM coaches also conveyed some of the achievements that UKM MC had achieved. Such as :

1. 1st and 2nd place in the Roffair Announcer Competition

2. 2nd and 3rd place in the Sejabodetabek Announcing Competition

3. Finalist of the UNPAD Entertainment Presenter Competition

As the Public Officer of this event, Reza Pratama, who is none other than the Deputy Chairperson of UKM MC, expressed his gratitude to those who supported the UKM MC journey both morally and materially. He also informed that there are several types of MC, namely Formal MC, News Anchor , Entertainment Presenter , Announcer and Traveling MC .

The embedding of honorary suits and pins for member representatives and the cutting of the tumpeng by Karo Kermawa marked the inauguration of the UKM Anniversary event. The hope that can be conveyed is that UKM MC can give birth to new talents in the world of Public Speaking in Indonesia and can carry the name UPNVJ.
