Thursday, 4 June 2015 Public Health Study Program FIKES held a National Seminar entitled "The Role and Strategy of Public Health Workers in Facing the 2016 ASEAN Economic Community (AEC). Located in the BEJ Room Gd. M. Husni Thamrin lt. 4 UPNVJ Faculty of Economics, the event which started at 09.00 WIB was opened by singing the National Anthem Indonesia Raya and performances from UPNVJ dance which presented a collection of Nusantara Dances.

Also attending this seminar, dr. Murtiwi as the Head of the UPNVJ Public Health Study Program, acting as resource persons were Mr. Dedi Supratman, SKM, MKM as the Secretary General of IAKMI/Expert Staff of the DPR RI and Mr. Sidin Hariyanto, SKM, MPd as the Health PSSDM Agency of the Indonesian Ministry of Health with moderator Mrs. Insani Budiningsih, S.Sc as well as participants from Siliwangi University, West Java, Prof. Muhammadiyah University. Dr. Hamka Jakarta, University of Indonesia, Syarif Hidayatullah State Islamic University Jakarta, Muhammadiyah University Jakarta, Widyagama University East Kalimantan, Lambung Mangkurat University South Kalimantan and as the host of UPNVJ .

In the seminar entitled "Strategic Issues for Health Students Facing the 2016 ASEAN Economic Community (AEC), Mr. Sidin Hariyanto, SKM, MPd explained how AEC formed ASEAN as a single market and production base to become more dynamic and competitive. The impacts of globalization include cross-border trade in goods and services, cross-border mobility of students and lecturers, increased competition between countries and between institutions, the quality of the workforce determines country competitiveness and qualification standards and compatibility of cross-country qualifications. Meanwhile, opportunities for Indonesian Health Workers are due to the high demand for workers to work abroad, the relatively high interest in working abroad, the characteristics of Indonesian human resources that are preferred by other countries and the large number of educational and training institutions that are of international standard.

The second session was filled with a seminar entitled "The Role and Strategy of Public Health Workers in Facing the 2015 ASEAN Economic Community (AEC) by Dedi Supratman, SKM, MKM. Health Workers (Nakes) are the most significant aspect in achieving health development targets (contributing 80% to success). Health Workers are one of the main keys of the National Health System whose position and role are very decisive in the national service system. MEA is a form of ASEAN Economic integration which is planned to be achieved in 2015. The role of Public Health Workers in facing MEA 2015 includes advocating for the government that the healthy Indonesia program that the Ministry of Health aspires to is in line with the aspirations of the MEA which emphasize efforts to promote healthy living. health, standardizing the quality of public health personnel towards global competitiveness, public health as a health consultant in managing health development programs, public health has a role in managing health information/data systems and public health has a role in ensuring that health services are provided efficiently and continuously.

On this occasion, Eva Rosiana Maniaga, a Public Health student class of 2012 as the Chief Executive, said that the ISMKMI Region 2 Conference determined that UPNVJ was chosen as the host this time. It is a matter of pride because with this we can introduce UPNVJ to invited guests from other universities. The purpose of holding this seminar is to direct and prepare Public Health Workers in facing MEA. The message that can be conveyed to the next host is that it is better than the previous one, this event can take place continuously, the theme raised can be applied and implemented.
In the series of events, a Community Service agenda was held which took place at SDN 01 Pondok Petir, Sawangan Depok with the concept of implementing "Clean Living Behavior". Also sponsoring this event were Publishers Erlangga, Wardah, Kemang Medika and from the UPNVJ FIKes Dean.
