Music is sound that is arranged in such a way that it contains rhythm, song and harmony, especially sound produced from instruments that can produce rhythm. Although music is a kind of intuitive phenomenon, to create, improve and present it in an art form. Music is a very unique phenomenon that can be produced by several musical instruments. Listening to music is a kind of entertainment, therefore UBV as one of the Student Activity Units of UPNVJ which accommodates interests and talents in the field of music presents a neat presentation of playing musical instruments consisting of two or more musicians playing musical instruments ( band ) and is named PEM (Music Event Week). The event, which aims to become a band competition among the UPNVJ community, was held on Thursday, June 11 2015 and took place at the Front Field of Gd. Gen. Soedirman UPNVJ and started at 15.00 WIB.

Also guiding the event and acting as Master of Ceremonies namely Fiqh M. Ramadhan and Luthfi Aditya from UBV members were able to pack the event nicely. The number of participants who took part included 6 bands from various bands in UPNVJ. This time, UBV is only the organizer while those participating are not from UBV UKM members but from students, HMJ and UPNVJ UKM. This made the participants enthusiastic, because not many people know that students who are not members of UBV are no less good at playing musical instruments, they also have pretty good music playing skills. Those listed as participants included: Sinar Jaya Part II band from S1 Mechanical Engineering, Kiwi Juice from FIK, Eka 'n Friends from S1 Management, Binasa from UKM Girigahana, Action Project from S1 Accounting and the last one Grows Up from S1 Management.

Nadya Amaliyah, a student of Public Health class of 2014 as the Chief Executive said that this event was a workshop of event management from UKM UBV which was a form of practical assignment to apply theory and material that had been obtained as well as a simulation to prepare for the peak of the annual event from UBV namely "Mutant Fest" . The purpose of holding this event is to prepare UBV members for the annual event, besides that it is also to apply the material that has been obtained, practice skills , see and explore the potential (talents) of other students who are not members of UBV, introduce UBV more closely again as an event to strengthen the friendship of the UPNVJ academic community. The obstacles we encountered in the field were the lack of interest from the audience who attended, the target of 50% participants was not achieved because we held it right in the quiet week of the UPNVJ UAS implementation.

The great hope that can be shared is that events that are aimed at honing skills and developing interests and talents can be fully supported by both the campus and the students themselves, so that we event designers are more motivated to design even better events which will certainly have an impact on the UPNVJ community. .

Coming out as the third winner was Eka 'n Friends from S1 Management, second place was won by Binasa , a representative from UKM Girigahana and the first winner was Action Project from S1 Accounting. Each winner gets a Trophy and coaching money in the order of the winners. Congratulations to the winners. Hopefully it can hone and channel existing talents positively. Success for UBV, I hope an event like this can take place every year.
