Tuesday, October 28 2015 at the UPN "Veteran" Jakarta Campus Ceremony Field a flag ceremony was held in commemoration of the 87th Youth Pledge Day. The ceremony, which started at 07.30 WIB, was carried out solemnly and gave the impression of enthusiasm to the younger generation who gave bright hopes for the future.

Acting as the Ceremony Trustee is UPN "Veteran" Jakarta Deputy Chancellor II Dr. Erna Hernawati, Ak, CPMA, CA, the ceremony was attended by Warek, Deans/Dir, Ka. Satker, UPN "Veteran" Jakarta Employees and Students and members of the Student Regiment. In his remarks, the Minister of Youth and Sports of the Republic of Indonesia, which was read by the Ceremony Coach, said that the 87th Commemoration of the Youth Pledge this time took the theme "Mental Revolution to Awaken Youth Towards One Action for the Earth". This theme is based on a deep concern for two things. First, today we are treated to a new phenomenon regarding the changing pattern of our social relations due to the flow of modernization and advances in information technology. Second, related to the phenomenon of managing our natural resources which is not in accordance with the concept of sustainable development or suitability development. Through the youth mental revolution, we hope that a young generation of Indonesians will be born who are strong, have character, are independent and are willing to fight for the interests of the nation and their country. Willing to sacrifice his ethnic ego, religious ego, regional ego, group ego and personal ego for the sake of the greater interest, namely Indonesia, as was done by the youth of our predecessors. This is our homeland, this is our earth, this is our future.
