Monday, November 2, 2015, at the Rectorate Meeting Room, Floor II of the General Sudirman Building, UPN "Veteran" Jakarta, the Inauguration and Handover of the Position of UPN "Veteran" Jakarta Student Reimen Unit Commander was carried out. The event started at 09.00 WIB and was opened by singing the National Defense March. Attended by the Chancellor, Warek I and II, the Deans, the Ka. The Satker and members of the UPNV Jakarta Student Regiment were also present, the Commander of the Jayakarta Regiment.

In his remarks, the Chancellor said that hopefully this transition can bring UPNV Jakarta to a good level in a sustainable manner. The existence of the Menwa is quite well known to all people, therefore I hope that the Menwa of UPNV Jakarta will become Menwa who can bring UPNV Jakarta a good name in the community and can foster a sense of solidarity and discipline. To the Menwa to maintain conditions and for prospective Menwa members there must be a very strong Screening, especially in terms of health. If you really don't meet the criteria, the committee has the right to refuse if your health doesn't allow you to take care of bad things in the future. For this reason, I hope that the Menwa will become a disciplinary milestone and I hope that the Menwa UPNV Jakarta will become a motivation and become an embryo in nurturing students to become Entrepreneurs in the future when they have finished studying at UPNV Jakarta. I hope that Menwa will not only wear clothes, but must maintain attitudes and behavior and Menwa as Agents of Change. As a student who maintains discipline, maintains a sense of solidarity and brings the name of UPNV Jakarta to a better future. Menwa is a unit not only at UPNV Jakarta, but Menwa Indonesia has a strong network in Indonesia. All Universities have Menwa, therefore solidarity needs to be fostered by communicating with other Menwa and looking for positive things that can be developed.

The Chancellor conveyed his gratitude to Mufid Fathurrahman (1110313006) for his contribution while serving as the Commander of the Student Regiment Unit. In addition, he also congratulated Ridde Arizona (1210611103) for being elected as the new UPNV Jakarta Student Regiment Unit Commander.
