Monday, November 30 2015 at 08.00 WIB at Rindam Jaya Dodik Bela Negara Field, the opening ceremony for the Basic Defense Training Education was held for prospective members of the UPN "Veteran" Jakarta Student Regiment, present at the event Danrindam Jaya/Jayakarta, Karo Student Affairs, Student Regiment Advisor along with other invited guests. Belanegara Education was carried out for 6 days from 30 November 2015 to 5 December 2015 which took part in 26 UPNV Jakarta students who had passed the selection.

In his remarks, Danrindam Jaya said that this Education and Training was not an effort to "militarize" the TNI against civilians, but basically this education was directed at providing knowledge and skills that are soldiering in nature, in the form of introducing discipline, mental and physical formation and to foster a sense of nationality and love for the motherland. I hope that as long as you attend education and training at Rindam Jaya, you can follow and carry out every existing rule and order, all of which are aimed at getting you used to living a disciplined life so that you are able to make the maximum contribution to the success of the campus where you study.
