CONGRATULATIONS AND SUCCESSFUL GRADUATES OF UPN "VETERAN" JAKARTA

EVEN SEMESTER PERIOD FY. 2015/2016

September 21, 2016, UPN "Veteran" Jakarta held a big event, namely the 57th graduation with the theme of the Belanegara Campus which was decorated with red and white ornaments on every knick-knack.

The event began with singing the national anthem Indonesia Raya, defending the new country, then the opening of the senate and remarks from the chancellor, representatives of the Ministry of Research, Technology, and Higher Education followed by a quite solemn procession. The graduates climbed the stage to receive the folders and the graduation procession by the rector. In the event, their complete student biodata was displayed on the front screen, at the same time, a live video on the back screen so that the guardians and parents as well as the families of the graduates could clearly see their children performing on stage, pride in a successful family. achieve a diploma, bachelor, profession or even master's degree.

The graduates, in the process of gaining knowledge for an average of 4 years, were paid off in happy faces at the graduation building, this joy radiated not only from the graduates and their families but also from the UPN "Veteran" Jakarta academic community who had produced graduates to ready to compete in the labor market, have the competencies needed in business entities and have the creativity of students to create employment opportunities. These provisions are owned with the aim of helping the community and the environment in solving problems around them. Interestingly, some of the graduates have worked so that the uptake of graduates and the waiting period for work is not too long, this is one of the reasons that makes the interest of UPN "Veteran" students even higher.

During the graduation procession, it was directly accompanied by the strains of a song performed by the UPN "Veteran" Jakarta Choir UKM. In the middle of the procession, the Chancellor was given the opportunity to rest for a moment by performing traditional dances from the UPNVJ Dance UKM. This shows that the interest in student talent is not only channeled into the UKM room, but is shown to the public at the right time. After the procession, a surprise from the graduates from the back benches singing a song goodbye to friends.

Various expressions, happy to have earned a degree, but also sad, because some have to part with their comrades during college who have studied late, gathering at friends' boarding houses, eating together sometimes looking for student prices, and all other memories will leave as they leave the graduation building . Yes... it's time for them to enter a new world, a real world where they will see, witness and feel real theoretical and practical collaborations with various pressures that might exceed their pressure while working on questions, assignments and even a thesis that has to be revised many times. -times, with that they will become a tough person.
