The UPN "Veteran" Jakarta Student Regiment Assists the Search for Drowning Victims in the Ciliwung River

The UPN "Veteran" Jakarta Student Regiment is participating in the search for victims who drowned and were swept away by the currents of the Ciliwung river. After 3 days of searching for the victim who was carried away by the current in the ditch on Saturday (11/11/17) yielded results, the victim was found on Monday (13/11/17) at around 15.00 WIB, approximately 15 kilometers from the scene of the incident. It is known that a 7-year-old boy named Zaenal Mutaqin was swept away by the current of the Ciliwung River, from the Cipayung area, Depok, Saturday afternoon (11/11/2017).

In this search, the UPN Student Regiment "Jakarta Veterans" and a joint team consisting of Basarnas Rescue, Tagana and assisted by the community finally managed to find the victim in Pondok Cina in a lifeless condition.

Students participating in this search are Aditya Budi Cahyono Faculty of Law, Azmi Ubaidillah Faculty of Law, Anuarattama Andromeda Faculty of Law, Muhammad Tri Kurnia Faculty of Computer Science.

With the success of the rescue team, Commander of the 07/LIMO Koramil Headquarters, Captain Arh. Ema Suherman and PASI OPS DIM 0508/DPK Captain Arh. Setiono Congratulations and our highest appreciation and pride for the success of the combined task operation of the YON 6 UPNVJ RESCUE team in the search for drowning victims in the Ciliwung River, Depok.
