Guidelines for Construction and Implementation of PIKIR's Work Culture Values for UPNVJ Permanent Lecturers

Jakarta - In connection with the launch of the PIKIR Work Cultural Values which was recently launched by the Chancellor of UPNVJ, the Bureaucratic Reform Team again held "Exposure of the Construction Guidelines and Implementation of PIKIR Work Cultural Values for UPNVJ Permanent Lecturers" with the aim of again informing that "thinking" must be starting point in building a work culture that is professional, has integrity, has a fighting spirit, is innovative, and is responsive in serving. The activity took place at the UPNVJ Unity in Diversity Auditorium, on Wednesday (14/03/18).

Before discussing the PIKIR Values in depth, the Chancellor of UPNVJ explained the changes and developments that had occurred at UPNVJ when it was private until now it became a state, starting from the significant increase in the interest of prospective new students, infrastructure targets that have been implemented or are still in process, namely Development Faculty of Social and Political Sciences building, reallocation of canteen, renovation of rectorate hall, provision of elevator, renovation of lecture halls at Limo Campus, renovation of Faculty of Engineering hall, addition of motorbike parking area and addition of Classrooms (12 Classes) at Limo Campus. “This change is an infrastructure change, where each change takes time, but we are trying to finish this in about 4 months and we are building it with our own budget. So the construction is indeed very fast and we hope to be accompanied by the development of human resources, so with THINK this will provide input and directions on how to behave in an appropriate way ," he said.

The event continued with a discussion on the Construction of PIKIR's Work Culture Values delivered by the Dean of FISIP Dr. Anter Venus, Drs, MA, Comm to all participants, totaling 149 people including UPNVJ leaders and permanent lecturers. He conveyed several scopes in it, namely the Rationale of Construction of Work Culture Values, the time for compiling the Work Culture Values, the source and process of forming the Values and a philosophical and practical description of the PIKIR Work Culture Values. “ Everyone has the right to make changes with PIKIR's Work Culture Values as a guide to behavior. These Values were created by the team by discussing what values are needed as the foundation of the work culture at UPNVJ from the bottom up, everyone builds together so that everyone feels they belong to each other, "he said. In addition, the Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs, Prof. Dr. Moeljadi, SE, SU, M.Sc also delivered his presentation which discussed the Implementation of PIKIR's Values and Work Culture for permanent lecturers in the UPNVJ environment. The event ended with question and answer participants and group photos.
