Admissions for new students for the 2018 academic year have begun. UPN "Veteran" Jakarta again held an Introduction to New Student Campus Life (PKKMB) on Sunday (12/08/18). PKKMB is a program of activities to introduce campus life to new students which is mandatory for new students to attend for 6 days by providing education as a means of fostering and adapting to a higher education environment that focuses on self-potential development and introducing the identity of Defending the Country.

PKKMB is held annually by providing religious activities, basic discipline training, public lectures, talk shows, and campus introductions by both the University and the Faculty to each activity group with a total of 2,858 new 2018 student participants.

In this case Dr. Suyatno, MM as the Head of the Academic Bureau as well as the chief executive of the 2018 PKKMB said "The 2018 PKKMB activities are mandatory for new students and are a routine activity every year. The focus of this activity is to provide provision to new students with the aim of accelerating the adaptation and personal formation of students who have character, quality, and grow to become students with a National Defense identity," he said during an interview.

One of the new students said that before joining the keg For their PKKMB activities, they have prepared the physical, mental and supplies needed for the activity. They also felt happy to be able to experience the excitement with the committee members and gain a lot of new knowledge from the speakers who filled out the PKKMB activities.

Various activities are given to new students, such as the introduction of lecturers and staff and an introduction to the facilities and infrastructure owned by the University and Faculties. New students are divided into several groups and directed to the room according to the committee's directions to be given a public lecture by the speakers.
