HumasUPNVJ - UPN "Veteran" Jakarta held the Chancellor Election for the 2018-2022 period. This election for the Chancellor was held for the first time since UPNVJ was designated as a New State University (PTNB).
"This is the first Chancellor election after UPNVJ became a State University and for the first time I was also appointed as chief executive in carrying out the Rector election for the 2018-2022 period. Thank God, it was carried out properly and in accordance with existing procedures," said Sugeng Siswanto, Head of the General Affairs and Finance Bureau who is also the chief executive for the 2018-2022 Chancellor election.
In the election of the Chancellor for the 2018 – 2022 period, Dr. Erna Hernawati, Ak, CPMA, CA received the most votes and was elected as the new Chancellor of UPN "Veteran" Jakarta through a closed senate meeting, Thursday (18/10/18) in Nusantara Room 1 of the UPNVJ Rectorate building.
In this implementation, UPNVJ follows Kemenristekdikti regulations with the distribution of votes, namely the minister's vote is 35%, while the senate member's vote is 65%.

As a university that is in the middle of the city, it can attract significant market potential, it's just a matter of how this UPN can show the quality in UPNVJ," he said.

Furthermore, the results of the vote election were sent to the Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education which would later carry out the determination and inauguration of the Chancellor of UPNVJ.
