HumasUPNVJ - Jakarta, Tuesday 23 October 2018. Students of the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences who are members of the International Relations Student Association organization held a national seminar entitled "IDEANATION 2.O" and discussed The Use of Plastic and Human : International Revolution on Our Thinking of Plastic Efficiency . The background for holding this national seminar is because, as we know, the issue of plastic is very much discussed, even on the international stage.

The National Seminar organized by HIMAHI was filled with speakers who are experts in their respective fields, such as representatives from the Danish Embassy ( Denmark Embassy), WWF ( World Wide Fund for Nature), KOPHI (Indonesian Green Youth Coalition) and representatives from ADUPI (Indonesian Plastic Recycling Association). Meanwhile, the participants who participated in the IDEANATION 2.O seminar were representatives from several universities in the Jabodetabek area who were members of FKMHI, and invited the general public through the Eventbrite website.

The benefit and purpose of holding this event according to Hansel Leonard as the chief executive of the IDEANATION 2.O national seminar is to be able to find out the impact that will occur if you use plastic in your daily life excessively. "The benefit is that we can find out the impact of plastic on our lives if we continue to use plastic. In fact, this plastic is already rife, this plastic pollution is really happening a lot. And in my opinion, the goal for this seminar is to be able to open our minds to reduce plastic, like that, so we can use alternatives other than plastic as efficiently as possible.” he said.

In addition, Hansel hopes that by holding this national seminar, the committee or attendees can learn together to open their minds that the world is being critical due to pollution from the excessive use of plastic and will have a bad impact on our lives.
