UPNVJ Students Win 2nd and 3rd Place in National Industrialist Robotic Competition 2025

HumasUPNVJ – Students of the National Development University “Veteran” Jakarta (UPNVJ) who were divided into two teams from the Faculty of Computer Science (FIK) and the Faculty of Engineering succeeded in winning second and third place respectively in the prestigious National Industrialist Robotic Competition (NIRC) 2025 at the Auditorium of Padang State University (UNP).

Held on February 17-20, 2025, this competition was attended by a total of 68 participants in 34 teams from around 20 universities throughout Indonesia, which aims to develop creativity and innovation in the field of industrial robotics.

Solid collaboration and relentless dedication brought the FIK team consisting of Sudarma Yudho Prayitno, S1 Informatics class of 2022 and Taufiq Maulana Prakoso, S1 Information Systems class of 2023, successfully defeating strong competitors from other teams, by winning a silver medal for Best Video Presentation. Meanwhile, the FT team consisting of Irsyada Ahmad Althaf Farih, S1 Mechanical Engineering and Arif Amarudin S1 Electrical Engineering managed to win a bronze medal for Best Perfect time.

Representing his team, Taufiq Maulana Prakoso said that opportunities in the field of robotics in the industry are very numerous. Therefore, he expects the current young generation to be able to actively participate in competitions outside campus.

"There are many opportunities in the field of robotics, especially in industries such as the competition we are participating in, but there are few enthusiasts. In fact, the benefits are quite good for the future, such as the EPSON international certification that we received and also relations with universities throughout Indonesia," said Taufiq.

"We hope that other #belanegara friends can participate in the field of robotics or be more open to this field as well," he continued to the UPNVJ Public Relations team.

The NIRC 2025 event is an important momentum in Indonesia's efforts to advance robotics and industrial technology, as well as opening up opportunities for the younger generation to innovate and contribute to the development of the industrial sector in the country.
