Public Relations of UPNVJ - As a step to ensure the commitment and accountability of government agencies in achieving the set performance targets, the Chancellor of the National Development University "Veteran" Jakarta (UPNVJ) Prof. Dr. Anter Venus signed a Performance Agreement (PK) with all work units within UPNVJ on Wednesday, February 19, 2025.
There are approximately 20 work units within UPNVJ whose performance will be signed, including Faculties, Institutions and Bureaus, Internal Supervisory Units, Academic Support Units, Research Ethics Commission, and the Office of International Affairs.
"A Performance Agreement is needed as a form of accountability for the results we achieve, so that everything is more measurable, from planning to evaluation," said Prof. Venus.
"This is crucial, because the PK determines what kind of achievements we want to have in the future," he continued, in his speech before 100 invited participants.
Prof. Venus said that the signed PK aims to provide certainty that all levels of UPNVJ academics are committed. He invited all elements in UPNVJ to conduct periodic checks on the targets that have been determined in the PK.
"PK must be passed down in stages, especially for faculties, a roadmap must be made for the process, all signed PKs have the same urgency," said Prof. Venus.
"I would like to express my gratitude that our achievements are in principle good, and our position in the Ministry of Education and Science and Technology is also good. Last year, we had the second position nationally, hopefully our position will remain in the top three," he added.
As an appreciation for the achievements of the previous year, the Chancellor of UPNVJ also gave several prizes to work units with the best scores in performance achievement in 2024. There were three winners in three categories of best performance achievement.
The faculty category was won by the Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) with a score of 97.13 percent. From the Institution and Bureau category, the prize was won by the Learning Development and Quality Assurance Institute (LP3M) with a score of 95.65 percent.
The best performance achievement award was also given to the Internal Supervisory Unit with a performance value of up to 99.51 percent.
