UPNVJ Public Relations - UPN "Veteran" Jakarta held its 56th Anniversary celebration, several series of Anniversary activities have been carried out successfully. Prior to holding the top event which will be held in mid-January, UPNVJ is holding an Open Meeting and National Seminar with the theme "Higher Education Strategy to Prepare Graduates to Compete in the Industrial Age 4.0" today, Wednesday 9 January 2019 at the Bhinneka Tunggal Ika Auditorium UPN "Veteran" Jakarta. The whole event was attended by Dr. Muhammad Dimyati (Director General of Strengthening Research and Development of the Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education), Prof. Dr. Ismunandar (Director General of Belmawa), Prof. Dr. Ir. Harjanto Prabowo, MM (Rector of Bina Nusantara University), Achmad Wicaksono, Ph.D., (Chairman of LPPM Univ. Brawijaya), Members of the University Senate, faculty officials, heads of subdivisions within UPNVJ, lecturers, teaching staff, and students.

The event was opened by the Chancellor of UPNVJ, Dr. Erna Hernawati Ak. CPMA, CA then continued with a Scientific Oration delivered by the Director General for Strengthening Research and Development of the Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education, Dr. Muhammad Dimyati representing the Minister of Research, Technology and Higher Education. In his oration, he conveyed that regarding industry 4.0, there are two things: first, internal transformation, challenges can be seen as opportunities and second, collaboration with external parties. Apart from that, he also advised UPNVJ lecturers to further encourage students to master aspects of future science. Then it was followed by handing over the plaque to the Director General of Strengthening Research and Development of the Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education by the Chancellor of UPNVJ.

After the Scientific Oration, it was followed by a National Seminar with the theme "Higher Education Strategy to Prepare Graduates to Compete in the Industrial Age 4.0", which was filled in by resource persons who are experts in their respective fields, namely: Prof. Dr. Ismunandar (Director General of Belmawa), Prof. Dr. Ir. Harjanto Prabowo, MM (Rector of Bina Nusantara University), Achmad Wicaksono, Ph.D (Chairman of LPPM Univ. Brawijaya).

The event ended with a discussion and question and answer then a group photo. Hopefully this series of events for UPNVJ's 56th Anniversary can be the beginning for UPNVJ to develop itself to be better with other PTNs, especially in Jakarta.
