HumasUPNVJ - The liveliness of Kartini's Day can be seen at the Jakarta "Veteran" National Development University (UPNVJ) on Tuesday (23/4).

In order to give awards to Indonesian women's national heroes, especially Raden Ajeng Kartini, all leaders. UPNVJ lecturers, female staff and students wear regional traditional clothes throughout Indonesia. Not to be outdone, leaders. Lecturers, male staff and students also participated in enlivening this Kartini Day celebration by wearing traditional clothes during the flag ceremony.

UPNVJ Chancellor, Dr. Erna Hernawati, AK, CPMA said that the celebration of Kartini Day in the UPNVJ environment aims to give appreciation to the role of Indonesian women in supporting the progress of the Indonesian nation in all its sectors, she said.

The enthusiasm of UPNVJ residents in commemorating Kartini Day can be seen from the regional attire they wear. Such as Javanese custom, Batak custom, Minang custom, Betawi custom and so on.

In addition to the flag ceremony, this year's Kartini Day commemoration was enlivened by holding several competitions which were attended by all UPNVJ residents. One of the competitions is the regional fashion show competition.
