HumasUPNVJ – The development of the creative and entertainment industries in Indonesia continues to grow rapidly from year to year. This rapid growth was mainly supported by developments in digital technology and mobile internet which have now become everyone's main needs. Currently, more than 171 million people or 64.8% of Indonesians use mobile internet every day. They are very aware of e-commerce and other digital transactions in carrying out business and consumption activities. No exception in the event and entertainment industry such as music performances, sports competitions, exhibitions, festivals, seminars, cultural events, and others. Almost all event arrangements are currently being carried out digitally, such as in the process of buying tickets online or in other transactions.

"Moreover, the government has proclaimed the creative industry as one of the leading economic activities. This means that now the digital world is opening wide job opportunities, including in the entertainment industry," said Andhika Soetalaksana, Vice President of Sales and Partnership KiosTix, at the National Development University (UPN) Veterans Jakarta, October 29 2019.

Middle school students in Jakarta do not want to be outdone, now they are also proficient at organizing Pensi events. We help them with marketing and event ticket management. Everyone who is 16 years and over, it feels like now everyone wants to make an event. This is interesting,” added Andhika.

One of the main actors in the rapid progress of the creative and digital industries in Indonesia is KiosGrup. KiosGroup is a business group engaged in serving and supporting the development of the creative industry in Indonesia through a digital start-up platform. There are many digital start-ups that are members of KiosGrup, one of which is KiosTix which is engaged in the realm of online-based show and entertainment ticket management business.
