HumasUPNVJ - From March 4 to 8 2020, the Al-Isra Islamic study group at the University of Mataram held a National Working Conference (Mukernas) for the Indonesian Agricultural Muslim Student Association and at the same time held a national essay competition consisting of 10 finalists who had previously passed the selection stage from from various universities in Indonesia. Universities participating in the national working meeting included Gadjah Mada University, Padjadjaran University, Bengkulu University and various other universities. Meanwhile, the finalists for the essay competition included Airlangga University, Sebelas Maret State University, University of North Sumatra, Jakarta Veterans National Development University, and various other universities. The national essay competition event took place from March 6 to 8 2020 at the Mataram University Auditorium and several tourist destinations in West Nusa Tenggara.
The presentation of the finalists was held on March 7 2020 at the Auditorium of the University of Mataram which presented 10 innovative works and were judged by 2 judges who had capabilities in their fields. The next program was a field trip as well as the announcement of the winners in the national essay competition. The field trip starts from the Pancingan Village area in the East Lombok area, then continues to the Kuta Mandalika Beach area in South Lombok and ends with the tour in Sade Village, a traditional village in the Sasak Tribe area. Then, the announcement of the winners was read out in front of the finalists and participants in the National Working Conference and succeeded in making the following names as champions:
1. Champion 1 at the Jakarta Veterans National Development University
2. Champion 2 Eleven March State University
3. Champion 3 University of Mataram
4. Champion of Hope 1 University of Mataram
5. Champion of Hope 2 University of Mataram
6. Best Presentation : Airlangga University
For this competition, the Jakarta Veterans National Development University won 1st place on behalf of Muhamad Abdul Gonie Al-Kahfi, Salma Afrilia, and Regina who are 2017 undergraduate students majoring in Accounting.
