Webinar Coaching Clinic: Preparation of 2021 Community Service Proposals and Evaluation of 2019 Simlitabmas Community Service Proposals

HumasUPNVJ - The minimal number of community service proposals that have managed to obtain funding from the Deputy for Strengthening Research and Development, Ministry of Research and Technology / National Research and Innovation Agency in 2020, shows that lecturers still need guidance and direction to write better community service proposals and quality. Therefore the Institute for Research and Community Service (LPPM) UPN Veteran Jakarta conducted a workshop on "Preparation of 2021 Community Service Proposals and Evaluation of 2019 Simlitabmas Community Service Proposals through Google Meet - online (online), Wednesday 20 May 2020.

LPPM UPNVJ invited two speakers, namely Drh. Wisnu Nur Cahyo, Ph.D as the national reviewer of DRPM Dikti and Dr. dr. Suparni Setyowati Rahayu M.Si as Dikti's reviewer in the field of Community Service and attended by 245 participants from a total number of active lecturers of around 400 lecturers and led by M. Ikhsan Amar as moderator.

The activity was opened by the UPNVJ Chancellor's remarks, "Even though we are all faced with a pandemic situation like now, thank God we are all still able to carry out this Tri Dharma process, thanks to resource persons and attendees who have taken the time to take part in this online workshop. We all of course both want to improve the performance of UPNVJ Abdimas, hopefully with this activity we will get direction and be able to meet LPPM UPNVJ's targets in the future. Hopefully after this workshop , UPNVJ can also improve the quality of writing community service proposals and be able to keep abreast of current changes.” Erna said

In addition, Retno Dyah Kusumastuti as the Head of LPPM UPNVJ also conveyed several things related to the purpose of holding this workshop , "We carry out this activity aiming to improve the quality of community service outputs/products, Increase the number of community service proposals received by the Research and Community Service Funding Program. to the Community Research programs organized by the Deputy for Strengthening Research and Development/National Agency for Research and Development Strengthening, or other external funding sources, Increasing the contribution of external community service in accreditation of study programs, Improving the performance of lecturers in the field of research and community service in order to fulfill provisions on lecturer performance loads which are a requirement in obtaining incentives for excess teaching hours, and Facilitating the acceleration of permanent lecturer functional positions through publication of research results and community service in reputable national and international journals.

Iksan Amar (head of the LPPM UPNVJ Abdimas Center) also said that, "In order for these goals to be achieved, this may require special attention, where it is necessary to strengthen the transfer of knowledge to internal reviewers , so that the selection and assessment process can run well." .

The activity closed with a discussion and question and answer session.
